The Driftless Labs all began as an idea to displace people and teams from our well laid routines, to nudge us out of habitual language and problem-solving grooves in order to shed new light on our collective potential. But what I’ve found since creating the first Driftless Labs in 2016 is that in this process of connecting strategies to local stories and thinking to a physical place, that we’re also learning to engage with a deeper wisdom that’s tied to the land, the history, and the people. It’s not about this moment, the next big idea or a trendy business strategy, but tapping into that deeper wisdom that has endured.
